Right now, less than 35% of eligible staff in the Ashland City Schools have showed interest in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, according to RichlandSource.com. So far, 550 staff members received the form and as of the Monday’s deadline, under 35% has returned the form.
School Board member Brandon Wells said he is concerned that come this fall, we could be in the same situation. Also, board member Dr. James Wolfe supported the vaccine. The district is expected to partner with the Ashland Drug Mart for staff vaccinations.
