The Ashland County Commissioners this week honored longtime highway superintendent Mark Stauffer, who was named the employee of the year in 2020 by the County Engineer Association of Ohio.
Stauffer, according to RichlandSource.com, has been an Ashland County employee for 44 years. Commissioner Mike Welch praised him for his commitment by being up in the early hours to check on roadways during the winter.
