Ashland police say a 16 year old male was taken into custody following a robbery at a store on Claremont Ave. Police say the incident happened around 2 am, where the suspect passed a note to the clerk at the Circle K store that claimed to have a gun and knife. The note demanded cash and other property. The suspect fled on foot and was later found by Ashland police, along with help from the highway patrol and Ashland County Sheriff. The cash and stolen property was recovered, however, the weapons claimed in the note were not located.
