Ashland City Council Approves Raises

Ashland City Council recently approved a 2.5% pay raise for all of its non-union members, according to RichlandSource.com.

Council however tabled legislation for future pay raises for council members and mayor. Council president Steve Workman said they want to have more discussion on the matter. The proposed legislation would see an annual raise of 1% for the mayor and council members. Action is expected to be taken at Ashland City Council's next meeting on December 16th.
