The Mansfield Fire Department responded to a call on Monday morning just before 7 am.
Officials said the fire was at 20 West Arch Street, where the resident had just arrived home for work and noticed smoke.
The blaze was in the 2nd floor and attic area, which had moderate damage. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not known yet, but is under investigation. Fire crews spent around 90 minutes on the scene to get things under control.
