COVID-19 Ohio: More Than 1,000 Hospitalized In Last 48 Hours

COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state with now more than 1,000 people hospitalized in Ohio over the last 48 hours, as 436 people were reported hospitalized by the Ohio Department of Health on Wednesday, after 585 on Tuesday.

Statewide there were just shy of 8,000 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday and 123 deaths.

Governor Mike DeWine will update the public health advisory map Thursday, which currently has Richland County on the watch list to possibly turn to the Purple Level 4 for severe exposure and spread of the coronavirus.
