The Shelby Health Department released the latest COVID-19 update as of Sunday, 11/29
The Shelby City Health Department is reporting COVID-19 activity with new and recovered/resolved cases. The Department has now documented a total of 233 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 since the outbreak began in March.
Of that cumulative number, 184 have attained recovered/resolved status as of this report. The Department is currently monitoring 48 active cases - with all 48 individuals self-isolating in home quarantine. Currently, there are no individuals hospitalized. There has been 1 COVID-19 death documented within the City of Shelby.
Citizens are strongly urged to observe all COVID-19 protocols and Health Department guidelines, including: frequent hand washing, sanitization, physical/social distancing , and the wearing of face coverings.
