Record - Nearly 12,000 New COVID-19 Cases In Ohio Monday

The State of Ohio reported a record 11,885 new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said the spike in cases has caused more people to be hospitalized - with a 59% increase in the last two weeks alone. Currently, more than 4,300 are in the hospital due to the coronavirus, 25% of those in the ICU.

DeWine also said, the high number of new coronavirus cases has part to due with a couple labs having some technical problems the last two days and not being able to report.

There are still some antigen tests that are pending.
