Ashland City Council Transfers CARES ACT Money For COVID-19 Relief

Ashland City Council has transferred just over $286,000 of CARES ACT money into a fund to be used toward COVID-19 relief.

RichlandSource.com reports, the move came just before the deadline to have the funds spent or transferred, otherwise they would not have been able to use the money.

Ashland has used some of the CARES ACT money for the police and fire departments. In total, Ashland has received just over $1.2 million in COVID-19 relief.
