Shelby Reports 6 New COVID-19 Cases In Last 26 Hours

Shelby mayor Steve Schag sent out the latest Coronavirus information on Friday, 11/20

The Shelby City Health Department is reporting COVID-19 activity over the last 26 hours with 6 new cases and 5 recovered cases. The Department has documented a total of 167 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 since the outbreak began in March. Of that cumulative number, 125 have attained recovered/resolved status as of this report. The Department is currently monitoring 41 active cases, with 37 individuals self-isolating in home quarantine and 4 individuals hospitalized. There has been 1 COVID-19 death documented within the City of Shelby.

Citizens are strongly urged to observe all COVID-19 protocols and Health Department guidelines, including: frequent hand washing, sanitization, physical/social distancing , and the wearing of face coverings.
