Richland Public Health To Use State Funds For Overtime, COVID-19 Equipment

Last week, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that each of the state’s 113 local health departments will receive $200,000 to help in the fight against COVID-19. In total, the state will hand out $30 million that each health department can use as they see fit.

Richland Public Health Commissioner Sara Humphrey says her department will use the money for overtime for nurses, contact tracing, along with equipment for testing and drive thru vaccination for COVID-19.
