Strong winds, storms responsible for thousands without power

A strong system packing 60+ MPH wind gusts and severe thunderstorms moved through the area Sunday. WMAN News received several reports of downed power lines and trees across the region and over 4,100 of AEP, First Energy and Firelands Electric customers remained without power this morning. Richland County EMA director Rick Evans on Sunday said he hasn’t had any reports of damage.
