Tuesday is Election Day and more than 44% of register Richland County Voters have already cast their ballot. Board of Elections Director Paulette Hankins told RichlandSource.com she is predicting a 73% turnout.
A lot of the attention is on the Presidential race, however, locally voters are casting their ballot in Ohio's 7th and 12th Congressional districts, Ohio State Representative in the 2nd District, Richland County Juvenile Court Judge and Probate Court Judge.
The Ashland School district has a 5 year, 1.25 mill renewal on the ballot for improvements. Also in Ashland County, there is Parks Levy, Mental Health Board has a 5 year renewal and the city of Ashland has an Income Tax renewal for Safety Forces Personnel.
Polls are open 6:30 am until 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
