Ohio: Most Cases In Single Day Thurs: 2,400, 84 of 88 Counties Red, Orange

COVID-19 Public Health Advisory Map Update

Richland County remains in the Red for the 4th straight week on the state ’s public health advisory map.

Richland, along with Crawford are part of 38 Red counties in Ohio, which is the level 3 and is very high exposure and spread of the coronavirus. Ashland has moved to the orange level 2 risk.

84 of Ohio’s 88 counties are either in the orange or red to due spread of COVID-19.

Richland County residents are encouraged to limit activities as much as possible and to follow all current health orders.

The state of Ohio reported more than 2,400 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, which is the most in a 24 hour period since the start of the pandemic.
