Mansfield City Council Approves Master Parks Plan

Mansfield City Council approved the overall parks master plan this week by a vote of 7-1.Council President Cliff Mears say the price tag is $29 million dollars, but no money has been committed. The approval is the vision of the plan by a Columbus firm. Council needs to vote on any purchase of $50,000. The city voted to transfer 10 of Mansfield’s 30 parks to the Richland County Land Bank to repurpose the land for different uses.
