Ashland City Council OK’s Spending Of $770,000 In CARES ACT Money

Ashland City Council has approved just shy of $800,000 in COVID-19 relief funding from the CARES ACT. According to RichlandSource.com, the city will use the money for a new emergency vehicle for the fire department and 4 trucks for the street department, which will help with social distancing. The COVID-19 money will also be used for a new ventilation system for the 3rd floor in the city municipal building.
