Press Release from Mansfield PD
The Mansfield Division of Police is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 100 block of Sturges Avenue at approximately 10:58PM on Monday October 19th, 2020. Initial reports are indicating that approximately 5 individuals were struck by gunfire in a “drive by shooting” and are currently being treated for their injuries at an area hospital.
The suspect(s) remains at large and Major Crimes Detectives have responded to the scene to handle the investigation. No additional suspect(s) or vehicle information is available at this time and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
