A gathering has now led to 4 positive COVID-19 results in the Lexington School district. According to RichlandSource.com, one staff member at Western and Eastern Elementary schools have tested positive, along with a junior high and high school student. The community gathering was not affiliated with the school district.
Lexington closed all schools in the district on Tuesday to disinfect the buildings. In-person classes are set to resume Wednesday.
