Ashland Fire Station To Be Built By June Of 2021

The city of Ashland plans to have its new fire station built by June of next year.

RichlandSource.com reports, Mayor Matt Miller said this is the biggest thing to happen to the Ashland Fire Department in over 40 years.

The official ground breaking took place last Friday.

The new fire station, which work is being handled by Simonson Construction, has a price tag of $2.8 million dollars and will be located at the corner of US 42 and Mifflin Ave.
