Tribe Swept By Yankees, Season Over With 8th Straight Playoff Loss

The Cleveland Indians season came to an end on Wednesday night, as the fell to the New York Yankees, 10-9 at Progressive Field.

The game was postponed twice by rain and took nearly 5 hours to play (4 hours, 50 minutes), which is the longest game in baseball history.

The loss is the 8th straight for Cleveland Indian in the postseason and one of the big topics in the offseason is the future of Francisco Lindor, who is only under contract through 2021.

Will the Tribe sign him? Trade him in offseason or wait until the July trade deadline ?
