A 17 year old Fredericktown teenager was pronounced dead at the scene following a two vehicle crash over the weekend.
The highway patrol says the crash took place on Saturday on County Road 2 in Delaware County just before 6 pm on Saturday.
The report says the teenager failed to yield from the stop sign and pulled into the intersection where she was hit by another vehicle driven by a 23 year old from Mt. Vernon, who suffered minor injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts. The crash remains under investigation.
