On September 17, 2020, the METRICH Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, executed a drug-related search warrant at 880 Laver Rd, Rm 149. in Mansfield Ohio. The focus of the warrant was on a Reginald Charity, B/M/59, who resided in Rm 149.
Reginald Charity, B/M/59 was the primary focus of this investigation which stemmed from multiple complaints regarding drug-related activity at this location. It was the joint effort of the METRICH Enforcement Unit, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, and their patrol unit that led to the sucessful arrest of Reginald Charity and the seizure of a handgun.
Reginald Charity was arrested and incarcerated at the Richland County Jail on two counts of felony drug trafficking, and weapons under disability.
METRICH Commander Lt. Jason Bammann stated the collaboration between local law enforcement agencies and the METRICH Enforcement Unit continues to have a positive impact on removing illegal drugs coming into Richland County communities.
