New Ohio Unemployment Figures Released, 16,000 New Claims

New unemployment numbers are out.

Just over 16,000 Ohioans filed first time claims a week ago and the overall total last week that filed for unemployment was over 320,000 people.

The state has paid out over $6 billion dollars since the pandemic started back in March, which has saw close to 1.7 million residents file for unemployment benefits.
