Ontario City Council this week approved to contribute, $25,000 of its CARES Act money, to the Richland County COVID-19 small business grant program.
A total of 273 small businesses in Richland County applied for the program, 17 of those in Ontario.
According to RichlandSource.com, Ontario has received just over $67,000 in CARES Act money, which needs to be spent by the end of the year.
