Richland County Absentee Ballot Requests Up Over 500% Compared to 2016

With less than two months until the Presidential Election, the Richland County Board of Elections has already processed over 500% more absentee Ballot requests, compared to 4 years ago.

According to RichlandSource.com, as of COB Tuesday, the Board of Elections had processed more than 10,500 absentee ballot requests, compared to just 1,500 at this exact time in 2016.

The Board of Elections plans to bring in some extra help ahead of the November Election. A reminder that the deadline to register to vote is Oct. 5th.
