It was a weekend of online fundraisers for a couple organizations in the area and another getting underway.The Power of the purse online auction to benefit the United Way of Richland County was virtual this year and according to Dan Varn, the amount of money raised as a result, should be released today.
The Humane Society of Richland County held their 2020 Strutt Sabbatical silent online auction.Items that were donated were then auctioned off to the highest bidders which brought in $2,250.A shirt to commemorate this year’s event which was sponsored by several area businesses, is available for $15 and can be purchased by calling the Humane Society at 419-774-4795, while supplies last.
Bidding is underway through Friday for the 2nd annual 33 Forever silent auction.Over 70 items are up for bid that have been donated by area businesses.
