Mansfield School Board Reaches Settlement With Former Assistant Principal

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education has reached a settlement agreement with former assistant principal Fuzzie Davis, who was terminated in January of 2018.

According to RichlandSource.com, board members did not comment on the exact terms of the settlement with Davis, who sued the school district in March of last year and saw a referee rule that Davis was wrongfully terminated.

A Mansfield judge then ordered Davis to be reinstated and for full restitution be made for lost pay and future wages by the school district.

Davis was let go by the district after claims said she did not properly report a teacher, who made a sexually explicit comment to a student.
