Former Plymouth Hotel Building to Be Knocked Down

Canal grabbers evicted in Dhaka.

A building that at one time was a hotel in Plymouth is set to be knocked down.

RichlandSource.com reports, The Richland County Land Bank has reached an agreement with the village of Plymouth to tear down the building, which is located along State Route 603.

In late July, the building collapsed, which led to a road closure.

Plymouth mayor Cassandra Fryman said she is grateful to the Land Bank for the help to safely take down the building, which she said has been an eyesore in the village for many years.
