An additional $1 million in COVID-19 relief money could be on it's way to Richland County.
That according to RichlandSource.com, who reports the Richland County Commissioners talked this week about using a portion of it toward the county jail.
Commissioner Tony Vero said, the Richland County jail has been impacted by the pandemic and they want to start there with this 2nd round of coronavirus funding.
Richland County has already received $ 2 million in COVID-19 relief Aid, which Congress passed back in March.
