The Tourism industry across the country has been hurt greatly by the pandemic and that's the case locally too.
RichlandSource.com reports,Lee Tasseff, president of Destinaton Mansfield - Richland County, told the commissioners this week that his agency has lost 62% of its revenue so far in 2020. Tasseff said a majority of the agency's funding comes from people staying in hotels.
Last year, tourism generated just over $101 million dollars for Richland County.
