Shelby mayor Steve Schag provided this Friday update.
The Shelby City Health Department is reporting 3 new cases (probable familial transmission). The Department has documented 48 individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19 since the outbreak began in March. Of that total cumulative number, 38 have attained recovered/resolved status. The Department is monitoring 10 active cases - 8 are home quarantined and 2 are hospitalized. There have been no Covid-19 deaths documented within the City of Shelby. Citizens are strongly urged to follow Covid-19 protocols and guidelines as set forth by the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC.
