Mansfield's Public Utilities To Meet About Raising Of Water, Sewer Rates

Mansfield's Public Utilities committee is set to meet Tuesday night and one of the items on the agenda is the raising of water and sewer rates.

RichlandSource.com reports the committee is set to meet with city engineer Bob Bianchi and Public Works Director David Remy.

Due to Mandates from the EPA, Mansfield will soon begin an $35 million overhaul of its water treatment plant, which would see water rates rise beginning in 2021 and each of the following 5 years.
