Governor Mike DeWine is now calling for the repeal and replacement of a bill at the center of one of Ohio's biggest bribery scandals. DeWine addressed the status of House Bill Six yesterday, saying it was still good policy but the way it was created stinks, and it's not acceptable. On Wednesday, DeWine defended the bill he signed, which provided a one-billion-dollar taxpayer bailout to two Ohio nuclear power plants. Earlier this week, Ohio Republican Speaker of the House Larry Householder and four others were arrested by the FBI for accepting 61-million-dollars in bribes to get the law passed.
