NFL Players Will Be Allowed To Wear Helmet Decals For Racial Awareness

Players on the Browns and Bengals will be allowed to wear decals on their helmets this season to honor victims of racial violence. The NFL announced yesterday that players would be given the option to add the decals to their helmets beginning in week one and throughout the entire season. The league and teams are set to meet to approve a list of names for the decals with high-profile cases like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, and Cleveland native Tamir Rice expected to be included. The NFL is also finalizing an agreement with the players union to cut roster sizes from 90 to 80 to help create better social distancing.
