Mansfield mayor Tim Theaker says the city has been approached by an organization about interest in the Ocie Hill Neighborhoor Center building on Bowman Street.
RichlandSource.com reports the mayor said he can't comment any further, but in an e-mail stated, if something were to happen, it would beneficial to everyone.
News came this past winter that the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center is set to close this September due to needed repairs and upgrades, which would cost more than $1 million dollars.
