The NCAA is releasing an updated set of recommendations and guidelines for Ohio State and other schools to follow for fall sports. NCAA President Mark Emmert released a statement on Thursday saying the new protocols will resume college sports in an environment where COVID-19 is manageable. The guidelines have players testing three days before each game with athletes who return positive then isolating for ten-days if they have no symptoms while those who were in contact with them quarantine for 14-days. The new guidance means a single positive case of coronavirus could potentially force a sizable portion of one team to be unavailable for competition.
