Richland Public Health Supports Resolution To End Racial Inequalities

Richland Public Health has agreed to support a resolution to end racial inequalities in Richland County.

According to RichlandSource.com, Mansfield City Council Public Affairs chairman David Remy, Richland Public Health will take part in a community effort designating systemic racism as a public health crisis.

This would see a community task force form for studies and recommendations to local officials.

6th ward Council member Jean Taddie sponsored the legislation recently met with Richland Public Health Commissioner Sarah Humphrey this week.

Richland Public Health will help in any way they can, but right now are also dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and are overwhelmed, according to David Remy.
