Former Tribe Outfielder Yasil Puig Signs Free Agent Deal With Atlanta

Former Reds and Indians outfielder Yasil Puig is now a member of the Atlanta Braves. According to team sources, the 29-year-old Cuban national is expected to finalize the deal once he clears a medical exam. Puig spent his first six MLB seasons with the Dodgers before being traded to Cincinnati at the 2018 Winter Meetings, and the Reds then shipped him to Cleveland before the trade deadline. In 2019 with Cincy and Cleveland, he hit a combined 267 with 24 home runs, 84 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases.
