Galion School Board Votes To Push Back Start of Year to Aug. 20th

The Galion City School Board of Education has voted to push back the start of the year a couple of days and will now see students head back on August 20th.

RichlandSource.com reports, the move by the board will allows staff members to refine learning practices, in case the district would need to move completely to a remote learning environment.

New Galion superintendent, Jennifer Allerding said, The Technology department and teachers put them in a good position at the end of last year. She went on to say,they are excited to start the new school year and hope to have students back in the classroom and on campus.
