The Columbus Blue Jackets are opening training camp today as they prepare to head to Toronto for the Stanley Cup playoffs. The NHL will send its Eastern Conference playoff teams to Toronto and its Western Conference teams to Edmonton to play in isolation to avoid spreading COVID-19. The Blue Jackets are the ninth seed in the East and will play the eighth-seeded Toronto Maple Leafs on their home ice beginning on Sunday, August 2nd. The teams will play a best of five series with the deciding game five if necessary to be held on August 9th.
