LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 20, 2025) – The Permco Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio returns to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend (June 20-22) for its 43rd annual edition. The longest continuously-running event at the legendary track will feature a mix of vintage and contemporary racing from seven SpeedTour series, including two 75-minute Trans Am Series races.

The extensive SpeedTour lineup features 19 races in a jam-packed weekend schedule. The ever-popular Trans Am Series muscle cars take the green flag at 12:35 p.m. ET on Saturday and 1:35 p.m. ET on Sunday. Historic Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) action will provide car enthusiasts history in motion on track throughout the weekend. Late model Porsche and Ferrari competitors from International GT, Prototype Sprint Series Association drivers, plus open-wheel rising stars in the Formula Regional Americas Championship, Formula 4 United States Championship and Ligier Junior Formula Championship also take on the track.

Drivers to watch in Trans Am competition include Paul Menard, fresh off a win at Lime Rock Park and back to defend his 2024 Mid-Ohio victory in the TA class, and Rafa Matos, a three-time Mid-Ohio winner in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series. Additionally, five different Ohio-natives will compete in Trans Am races at their home track: Aaron Quine (Wadsworth), Amy Ruman (Stow), David Pintaric (Canfield), Austin Hill (Frankfort) and Ray Mason (Columbus).

“It means the world to me (to race at Mid-Ohio) as I grew up in diapers watching my dad race here,” said Aaron Quine, a Trans Am veteran making his debut in the TA class and also a driving instructor at The Mid-Ohio School. “I can’t believe I started racing here 35 years ago. It’s like my second home.”

Other Trans Am drivers achieving milestones this weekend include Wally Dallenbach Jr. and Adam Andretti. Dallenbach Jr., a Trans Am Hall of Fame inductee, will make his final start on Saturday in the TA class, 40 years after his first and only Mid-Ohio win in 1985. Also, Andretti, another driving instructor at The Mid-Ohio School, will make his 100th start in the Trans Am Series on Saturday.

In addition to the on-track action, the Permco Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio provides fans tremendous access to the cars and drivers. The paddock and garage areas are open all weekend for fans to explore. On both Saturday and Sunday, spectators will also have the unique opportunity to walk down pit lane, approach cars and drivers, get autographs and take pictures during the pre-race Trans Am Fan Walks (11:50 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Saturday; 12:50 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. on Sunday).

Another autograph opportunity takes place on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. ET in the Super Pavilion in the Mid-Ohio infield with the Formula Regional Americas Championship, F4 United States Championship and Ligier Junior Formula Championship driver autograph session. Additionally, car enthusiasts can enjoy car shows on both Saturday (British Car Showdown) and Sunday (Concours d’Elegance) in the infield. These registered entrants also get to take a parade lap around the track each day.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course offers an exceptional family value. Children 12 and under are admitted free to Mid-Ohio when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Free parking is available.
