Governor Mike DeWine is releasing a new set of guidelines for colleges to re-open this fall. DeWine spoke about the new protocols yesterday, saying they were developed by the departments of Education and Health working in conjunction with Ohio's 167 higher learning institutions. None of the new guidance is much different from past measures with colleges asked to implement COVID-19 testing and develop procedures for isolating students and staff who are found to have contracted the virus. One new policy proposed by the governor is to have Universities set aside dorms or campus housing space as quarantine wards to relocate infected people until they recover.
