Big Ten To Only Play Conference Games This Fall

Ohio State and other Big Ten schools are now only going to play against conference opponents this fall when sports resume. Big Ten officials made the announcement yesterday that all fall sports would play a conference-only schedule due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This now means the football Buckeyes will no longer play games this season against Bowling Green, Oregon, and Buffalo and instead will open the season versus Rutgers at OhioStadium on September 26th. The Buckeyes will now have a nine-game schedule with four away games at Michigan State, Penn State, Maryland, and Illinois along with five home games against Rutgers, Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, and Michigan.
