22 Deaths On Ohio Roads Over 4th of July

The highway patrol says that 22 people died on Ohio roadways over the 4th of July holiday, which was July 2nd through 5th.

That is an increase over last year, where 17 people died.

Troopers across the state made 425 arrests for impaired driving, which remains a significant problem, according to patrol superintendent, Richard Fambro, who said "we need motorists to commit to keeping our roads safe and designate a sober driver.

The highway patrol also made 280 arrests this past weekend for drug related charges.
