DeWine Unveils School Plans, Urges Students Grades 3 -12 To Wear Masks

Governor Mike DeWine unveils his plans for Ohio students to return to class in the Fall. Speaking today from the State Capitol, DeWine outlined the five steps all schools need to take in order to hold in-person classes. Officials must constantly assess students for symptoms of COVID-19, enforce frequent hand washing, sanitize shared surfaces, practice social distancing and create a policy on wearing masks. The governor says also students beyond the third grade are strongly urged to wear face coverings.
