Shelby Man Fined For Comments Made During Protest

A Shelby man, cited for disorderly conduct for comments he made during a Black Lives Matter peaceful protest, has plead guilty to the charge.

RichlandSource.com reports, 60 year old Gregory Dick, chose to waive his hearing and pay a $135 dollar fine for the comments he made back on June 10th.

Shelby police Chief Lance Combs prepared and served the summons to appear saying, he feels he needs to set the tone for what is acceptable behavior

,both inside the department, and within the community.
