Agreement on "Code of Conduct" between Mansfield police and community

An agreement in principle has been reached between the City of Mansfield and local community groups on a "Code of Conduct", between police officers and members of the community.

RichlandSource.com reports, Alomar Davenport, who represents Mansfield's 4th ward on City Council,

said this is a guideline for interaction between members of the police department and the community.

Another meeting is tentatively set for July 9th, with the hope Davenport said, to have the new code of conduct officially signed by the end of July.
