Ohio Daycare Facilities Sue Over "Unfair" COVID-19 Restrictions

Forty daycare centers across Ohio are suing the state over what they call "unfair" COVID-19 restrictions. The 1851 Center for Constitutional Law filed the suit, claiming the Department of Health's May 29th order reducing the number of children allowed in daycare facilities is "arbitrary" and "unlawful." The nonprofit group says the Ohio Department of Health doesn't have the constitutional authority to overrule current guidelines put in place by the state legislature.
