A Path To Baseball May Be Emerging

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and Players Union President Tony Clark are back at the negotiating table working to have a 2020 baseball season. Sources confirmed yesterday that the two met earlier this week shortly after a weekend breakdown in communications. According to reports, progress was made at the meeting, and the two sides are much closer to hammering out an arrangement to have a shortened season with possible expanded playoffs. The most promising proposal appears to have a 60-game season played over 70-days with full prorated salaries and expanded playoffs through 2021 in exchange for players waiving any potential grievances.
