Bellville Holds Peaceful Black Lives Matter Protest

US-POLITICS-RACE-UNREST

Bellville, like many area cities and towns in North Central Ohio, recently held a Black Lives Matter protest, in support of racial equality.

RichlandSource.com reports, the peaceful protest took place last Friday in front of the village hall with about 60 people taking part, including speeches from several area pastors and event organizers.

Those in attendance sat silent for nearly 9 minutes in memory of George Floyd, who died in the custody of Minneapolis police, which has since sparked protests in Ohio, across the country and around the world.
